Published on 26 October 2025. Update 0.4 modernises the parts of the game you touch constantly — enemy behaviour, movement, and the interface — and adds a silent way to point at things for squads that do not want to talk over each other.
Added
- In-world ping system — silent callouts and navigation, so a corridor can be marked without breaking voice discipline.
- New models and props — more variety across rooms and corridors.
Changed
- Rebuilt enemy AI logic — enemies navigate and react more intelligently to what players actually do.
- Full UI redesign — cleaner type and a clearer HUD hierarchy.
- Refined player movement for tighter, smoother control.
- Refined motion blending and smoother animation transitions.
- Enhanced lighting and materials for richer reflections and shadows, plus layout tweaks across environments.
- Brighter flashlight with improved coverage, and a camera FOV slider for instant perspective tweaks.
Fixed
- Resolved movement desync between clients.
- Fixed lighting flickers in dark rooms.
- Improved performance during AI pathfinding and room transitions.
- Fixed a rare crash when joining a lobby mid-load.
What came next
Two threads were called out as next up here: more room types for environment diversity, and deeper proximity layering in the sound system. Update 0.5 followed with combat-ready enemy AI, the first electric puzzle, and voice chat controls.
