Where you place

Steam handles the sign-in and only tells us your public profile. Your runs are already recorded either way — signing in just lets the site show you which ones.
How scoring works
No sign-up, no opt-in, no separate mode. Finish a run and the game files it.
- Play a runSolo or with up to seven others. Every board accepts both.
- Reach the after-action reportThe game sends one run summary when the report appears.
- Boards updateYour run is scored against every board it qualifies for at once.
- Best run winsA stronger result replaces your old one; a weaker one never demotes you.
What each board rewards
- Fastest Extraction and Ghost Run only accept successful extractions — dying early cannot win a speed board.
- Systems Restored and Longest Survival accept any run, because both measure what you did before the end, not the end itself.
- Weekly Challenge only accepts runs made on the current weekly seed.
- Ties go to whoever set the result first.
Verified and unverified entries
An entry marked Verified was submitted with a Steam session ticket, which proves the run came from the account it is filed under.
An entry marked Unverified was submitted with a shared development key. It is shown, but flagged.
Worth being straight about: neither mode proves the numbers are real — they are measured on a player's own machine. Results are checked against what is physically possible for a run and anything impossible is rejected, but these boards are for bragging rights, not prizes.
Leaderboard FAQ
How do I get on the leaderboards?
Finish a run. The game submits your run summary when the after-action report appears, and every board you qualified for updates automatically. There is nothing to sign up for.
Do solo runs count?
Yes. Blood Moon Horror supports 1–8 players and every board accepts a solo run. Each entry shows the squad size it was set with, so a four-player extraction is never mistaken for a solo one.
Does a better run replace my old one?
Yes. Boards store personal bests, so you hold one row per board. A slower run never pushes your record down — and the top 100 stays 100 different squads instead of one very persistent one.
What is a season?
A season groups runs made under comparable balance. When an update changes mission length or objective counts, a new season starts so old times are not compared against new rules. Previous seasons stay readable.
Can I be removed from a board?
Yes — email justbecome2games@gmail.com from the address on your Steam account and your entries will be hidden. Removal is applied when the board is read, so it takes effect within a couple of minutes.
What data is shown publicly?
Your SteamID, public persona name and avatar — all of which are already visible on your Steam profile — plus the run result and squad size. Nothing else. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
