Published on 19 August 2025. Update 0.3 is a focused co-op quality-of-life pass: clients can finally collect documents themselves, the compass tracks teammates and objectives, and the scare system fires at the right tension points instead of the wrong ones.
Added
- Compass tracking for teammates and objectives — splits and regroups are faster with at-a-glance guidance.
- Camera FOV slider — built directly into settings.
Changed
- Clients can collect notes. Document progress counts for everyone, so the host is no longer a bottleneck.
- “Living Presence” tuning — tighter detection range, with client and server readings brought into agreement.
- Better flashlight for clearer visibility and targeting.
Fixed
- The scare effect now triggers at the right tension points.
- Removed the extra objective that spawned at match start.
- Fixed client detection when standing adjacent to another player.
- Tightened the presence indicator range for more informative feedback.
- Addressed notes falling through the floor (remaining edge cases were still being monitored at the time).
What came next
Enemy AI was the stated next focus after this release — making hunts smarter and fairer. That work landed in Update 0.4, alongside the UI overhaul and the in-world ping system.
