Published on February 28, 2026. Update 0.6 is a systems-heavy milestone focused on deeper co-op puzzle play, cleaner spectator flow, stronger late-join reliability, and a more consistent update cadence.

The four new puzzles

Update 0.6 took the electrical puzzle set from one type to five. Electric Switch shipped first; these four arrived with this update, and each asks a different kind of question:

  • Circuit Breaker — arithmetic. Every breaker carries a value; switch on the ones that add up to the target load exactly, inside a limited move budget. One over reads as wrong as one under.
  • Lights Out — the hardest to read. Pressing a cell flips it and its neighbours above, below and to either side, so you can never change just one. Solve the cells that differ from the target, top row down.
  • Circuit Trace — pattern matching. Toggle nodes until the trace matches the target; a locked node is confirmed, so work down the list instead of hunting for a clever route.
  • Circuit Reroute — the strictest move budget. Build one unbroken powered path from a fixed source to a fixed target. Every tile costs a move, so trace the route by eye before touching anything.

Step-by-step solving notes for all five are in the co-op puzzle guide.

Why the terminals matter in co-op

Before 0.6 a puzzle sat in a flat overlay. Now it lives on a terminal screen inside the level, so the rest of the squad can read the live puzzle state where they stand and coordinate while something is hunting them. Spectating got the same treatment: a teammate who is out of the run can follow the puzzle the active players are working, with a cleaner HUD and smoother switching between teammates.

Under the hood, shared puzzle state and interactions now replicate more consistently between players, and someone joining a run already in progress should receive its state more reliably.

Added

  • Circuit Breaker, Lights Out, Circuit Trace, and Circuit Reroute — four new electrical puzzle types.
  • World-space 3D puzzle terminals — puzzles live on in-world screens for better squad readability.
  • Spectator puzzle awareness — clearer viewing when teammates solve active interactions.

Changed

  • Improved replication for shared puzzle state and late joins.
  • Cleaner spectator HUD and smoother teammate switching.
  • Broader integration pass across AI, lobby flow, missions, HUD, and save-state pipelines.

Fixed

  • Packaged-build fixes for respawn and objective spawn edge cases.
  • Stronger multiplayer sync during in-progress runs.

Known issues / next focus

After the 0.5-to-0.6 gap, the team is targeting smaller updates, faster follow-up fixes, deeper AI, more puzzle variety, and progression UX polish.
